Yard Jockey

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Yard Jockey to join our team at Farmer Focus. As a Yard Jockey, you will be responsible for driving trucks around the yard to switch empty and full containers, as well as performing daily housekeeping of trailers and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive trucks around the yard to switch empty and full containers
• Perform daily housekeeping of trailers and equipment
• Implement extreme weather countermeasures on live poultry equipment
• Run forklift when necessary
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental procedures and policies

Requirements

• Current Class A Virginia Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Motor vehicle record (MVR) +5
• Ability to perform general labor duties outdoors and in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
