Care Manager

As a Care Manager at Willis Knighton Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive quality care in a cost-effective manner. You will work closely with our Case Managers to review patient plans of care, orders, and summaries to ensure that they align with reimbursement guidelines. This position requires strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough reviews of patient plans of care, orders, and summaries to ensure compliance with reimbursement guidelines
• Collaborate with Case Managers to develop and implement effective care plans
• Communicate with healthcare teams and insurance companies to ensure seamless care coordination
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvement
Requirements:
• Valid Louisiana nursing license (RN) preferred
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in an acute care setting, with Utilization and/or Case Management experience desirable
