About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a 13-week assignment in Alpena, Michigan.

This position involves administering medications and performing therapeutic modalities for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in critical care, ER, and Med/Surg settings, with a strong understanding of EKGs and emergency procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide CPR and life support systems
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Critical Care, ER, and Med/Surg experience
  • EKG skills and ability to respond to Rapid Response alerts and Code Blues
  • Recent traveler experience (highly preferred)
  • Valid RRT and BLS certifications
  • Michigan state licensure

The hospital is a 139-bed facility located in northeast Michigan on the shores of Lake Huron. It is accredited by The Joint Commission and has approximately 1,000 employees and 200 volunteers.
