Neonatal Intensive Care Specialist

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at the Necnic Group. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering advanced care to our neonatal patients, working closely with a collaborative healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our youngest patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessments and management of neonates in the NICU.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of neonatal conditions, including but not limited to respiratory disorders and infections.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform necessary procedures within your scope of practice, such as intubation and line placement.
- Educate families on their newborn's health, treatment plans, and care protocols.
- Engage in quality improvement activities and contribute to clinical research initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Neonatal Nursing.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or a similar environment.
- Licensure: Arizona RN license preferred, but not required; NNP certification from an accredited organization.
- Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Work Schedule:
- Shifts: Full-time, 18-hour shifts from 2 PM to 8 AM.
- Monthly Workload: Approximately 9-10 shifts per month.
