Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Director to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing clinical direction and oversight for patient care in an acute inpatient setting.

Your primary focus will be on fostering patient-centered care, utilizing evidence-based practices, and ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to our patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to identify patient, unit, and organizational priorities and incorporate them into the nursing process.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical direction and oversight for patient care in an acute inpatient setting
  • Foster patient-centered care, utilizing evidence-based practices, and ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered
  • Work closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to identify patient, unit, and organizational priorities
  • Incorporate identified priorities into the nursing process
  • Ensure adherence to all compliance and policy/procedures of the organization
  • Maintain knowledge of safety protocols, cost containment, and quality improvement throughout the nursing process
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • At least one year of experience as a registered nurse
  • Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina

If you have successfully completed the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or a comparable residency from another organization, we may consider alternative qualifications.
