About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Research Engineer to join our team at Coactive AI. As a key member of our research and development team, you will play a critical role in advancing our machine learning capabilities and driving innovation in the field of artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Development: Conduct research and development in machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a focus on data-centric AI and representation learning at scale.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with our team of engineers, researchers, and scientists to design and develop algorithms and infrastructure for large-scale machine learning models.
  • Infrastructure Development: Develop and maintain infrastructure for training and serving large-scale machine learning models on image and video datasets.
  • Problem-Solving: Tackle challenging problems at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and machine learning, and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth.
  • Observability and Monitoring: Design and implement observability and monitoring infrastructure to ensure high availability of cloud services.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience writing production-grade code in Python, Java, C++, or similar language, and 3+ years of experience building application software on cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Skills: Experience building and maintaining pipelines for large-scale ML training, monitoring, and serving (PyTorch, TensorFlow, TFX), and experience with orchestration tools (Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
  • Additional Requirements: Experience with data-intensive applications (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Hive), and a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and machine learning concepts.
