Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at the Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to clients
  • Participate in the implementation, evaluation, and modification of client service plans
  • Monitor and administer medication programs as prescribed
  • Assist with vital sign and blood sugar level monitoring
  • Structure and monitor personal and leisure activities for clients
  • Provide family support and education
  • Ensure the safety of clients and staff
Requirements
  • Current/valid LPN nursing license in the State of Alabama
  • Will accept new graduates; experience preferred but not required
  • Current/valid non-expired driver's license
  • Ability to drive on behalf of the center
  • Experience with Microsoft Word processing
