Healthcare Specialist

As a Healthcare Specialist at Ivy Tech Community College, you will be responsible for teaching and facilitating student learning in assigned classes. You will provide syllabus appropriate to course(s) being taught to students and follow syllabus content and requirements. You will maintain student attendance and grading records according to College policy as outlined in the Adjunct Handbook. You will submit requested information within established timelines.
Responsibilities:
Perform all instructional duties necessary to teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes.
Provide syllabus appropriate to course(s) being taught to students and follows syllabus content and requirements.
Maintain student attendance and grading records according to College policy as outlined in the Adjunct Handbook.
Submit requested information within established timelines.
Requirements:
A qualified faculty member in Healthcare Specialist meets all three of the following criteria: 1. Possesses an earned baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited institution; and 2. Has a minimum of 2 years directly related work experience; and 3. Holds certification or licensure in a health care discipline providing care or service directly to patients.
