Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Consultant to join our team at Hendrick Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Southpoint. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for meeting dealership sales goals while ensuring customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in sales and/or customer service, with a strong understanding of the automotive industry. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products is also required, as well as the ability to learn web applications for customer management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet dealership sales goals by greeting customers, determining their vehicle needs, and demonstrating vehicles in the showroom or on test drives.
  • Suggest optional equipment and compute sales prices, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discount.
  • Complete paperwork accompanying vehicle sales and arrange for delivery and registration.
  • Engage in business development, address customer concerns, and maintain CSI at or above company standards.
  • Maintain an organized work area, participate in required training, and record hours worked accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Prior sales and/or customer service experience desired.
  • GED, High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, Master Degree, or Doctorate Degree in Accounting, Automotive, Business, Human Resources, or Information Technology.
  • Valid Driver's License and intermediate ability to learn web applications for customer management.

Work Environment:

Duties are performed throughout the premises, both indoors and outdoors, and may include customer test drives. The position requires regular and predictable attendance, with scheduled shifts that may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

Benefits:
