Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer (MCiS) to join our team at the Joint Multinational Simulation Center - Indo Pacific (JMSC-IP). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering cutting-edge solutions to complex problems and tailoring innovative solutions to meet the unique requirements of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for engineering projects.
  • Maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and work with management to evolve current processes.
  • Perform complex systems development and design work, including logic design, I/O design, firmware development, and model formulation.
  • Invent innovative ways to drive production operational efficiency.
  • Participate in the upgrading of operating systems and design of systems enhancements.
  • Provide input for documentation on new or existing systems.
  • Develop and conduct tests to ensure systems meet documented user requirements.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve system problems.
  • Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals.
  • Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.
  • Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced systems engineers.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
Requirements
  • BS/BA or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience of 10+ years.
  • Advanced understanding and extensive practical experience with Army Command and Control Systems, specifically AFATDS, TAIS, and AMDWS.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the integration of C2 systems with tactical and simulation networks.
  • Professional Certification in one or more specific technologies may be required to meet DoD Approved RMF Baseline Certifications.
  • SECRET clearance is required with ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance.
