Transportation Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities include managing owner operator lease agreements, drug screenings, onboarding, and DOT/FMCSA paperwork. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Logistics or Supply Chain, 2-4 years of accounts payable and customer service experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and fluent in Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor unsafe driving practices and counsel owner operators on safe driving
  • Randomly audit DVIR's, timecards, and maintenance records for compliance
  • Manage onboarding process for new owner operators
  • Maintain the fuel card program
  • Create and maintain safety related KPI's
  • Investigate and report accidents
  • Work closely with Supervisor to establish events within the software
  • Create and manage monthly reporting for insurance, compliance/legal, and internal team members
Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 2-4 years of accounts payable and customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Ability to work independently with excellent time management
  • Proven ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
