Vaco is seeking a Transportation Compliance Coordinator to ensure fleet compliance with state and Federal transportation laws. Responsibilities include managing owner operator lease agreements, drug screenings, onboarding, and DOT/FMCSA paperwork. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Logistics or Supply Chain, 2-4 years of accounts payable and customer service experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and fluent in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor unsafe driving practices and counsel owner operators on safe driving
- Randomly audit DVIR's, timecards, and maintenance records for compliance
- Manage onboarding process for new owner operators
- Maintain the fuel card program
- Create and maintain safety related KPI's
- Investigate and report accidents
- Work closely with Supervisor to establish events within the software
- Create and manage monthly reporting for insurance, compliance/legal, and internal team members
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2-4 years of accounts payable and customer service experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of SAP preferred
- Fluent in Spanish
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management
- Proven ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
