The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a highly qualified academic endocrinologist to join our team in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases. As a key member of our clinical faculty, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, conducting research, and teaching endocrinology fellows and residents.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat patients with a full spectrum of thyroid neoplasms, including thyroid nodule disease and complex thyroid cancers.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including endocrinologists, surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists, to provide comprehensive care.
- Develop and implement research projects in thyroid neoplasms, with a focus on translational and basic research.
- Teach endocrinology fellows and residents, as well as medical students, in a clinical and academic setting.
- Board certification in Endocrinology (or eligibility).
- Experience in thyroid neoplasms, with a strong research focus.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced academic environment.
