State Tested Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities
- Follow and adhere to resident care plans
- Measure and monitor vital signs, reporting to your supervisor as necessary
- Observe resident conditions and report concerns to the nursing team
- Serve meals and assist with feeding residents as needed
- Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, keep residents' rooms clean, and change linens
- Communicate with medical staff, residents, and visitors
- Move residents in and out of wheelchairs and beds, and reposition them as needed
- Offer companionship and emotional support to residents
- Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing care procedures
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Effective organizational and communication skills
- Appropriate bedside manner
