About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Healthcare Patient Access Specialist to join our team in the Gastro Department. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify insurance information and authorization/referral requirements, ensuring accurate data entry into databases.
  • Counsel patients on financial liability, utilizing available financial counseling tools to maximize reimbursement for patient services.
  • Support scheduling activities by conducting pre-service activities such as insurance verification/submission.
  • Troubleshoot individual admission issues in collaboration with other departments/staff.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in healthcare patient access or revenue cycle experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
