Psychiatry Leadership Position in Fairfield County

At Olesky, we are seeking an experienced Adult Psychiatrist to lead our Inpatient Psychiatry Unit as Unit Chief. This is a fantastic opportunity for a psychiatrist with leadership experience to join our physician-led, employed, and quality-driven multi-specialty practice.
As Unit Chief, you will oversee a 20-bed In-Patient Unit and provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients on the Psychiatric unit. You will assist the Department Chair, Clinical Operations Director of Behavioral Health, and the Nurse Manager in the discharge of Departmental duties.
Key responsibilities include monitoring the clinical activity of house Psychiatrists to assure quality care is given, supervising staff Psychiatrists, APPs, and behavioral health professionals, and sharing patient load with staff psychiatrist carrying a patient load of 10. You will also participate in the medical education of residents, medical students, and physician assistant students.
Other duties include education, supervision, and clinical guidance to staff on the in-patient unit and supporting departmental quality and performance improvement efforts. Shared call includes 24-hour in-house weekend coverage once a month and 1 or 2 holidays a year.
