Job Title: Support Worker - Residential

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at ACLD. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in becoming self-sufficient and self-actualized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide structure and emotional support to residents
  • Assist residents in achieving their personal goals
  • Help residents with personal hygiene needs
  • Transport program participants to and from medical appointments and recreation activities
  • Complete detailed and accurate documentation

Requirements:

  • Clean, valid NYS Driver's license
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Some experience working with the intellectually and developmentally disabled population preferred
  • Must obtain and maintain AMAP and SCIP certifications
