Pharmacist - Clinical Opportunities

Sentara Careplex Hospital, located in Hampton, Virginia, is seeking an Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist to join their team. This role offers a dynamic and challenging environment where you will manage patient drug therapy in accordance with medical staff-approved clinical practice standards. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will maintain current knowledge of drug use through continuing education and serve as the primary resource for drug information within the hospital. Additionally, you will assure the appropriateness of all physician medication orders and precept pharmacy students as assigned.
Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (RPh) from an accredited institution
- State license to practice pharmacy in North Carolina or Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and mathematical skills
