About the JobThis is a PRN position, which means you will work on an as-needed basis, providing flexible scheduling that suits your lifestyle. You will have the opportunity to work with various patients, conducting diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure. Your expertise will be essential in providing quality images for interpretation, helping healthcare professionals make informed decisions about patient care.
Job Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure
- Provide high-quality images for interpretation, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Maintain a clean and organized department, adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
- Associate's degree or completion of a Sonography certification program
- 2+ years of experience in ultrasound sonography
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification with Abdomen (AB) Specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- BLS HCP certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
