Language Production Manager, English Dubbing Specialist

As a Language Production Manager, English Dubbing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Netflix customers across the globe receive high-quality, localized audio experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Manage dubbing production and accessibility assets in the respective dubbing market.
- Define standards for excellence and creative guidelines for the respective territory/country.
- Analyze content language trends and performance to identify and solve localization challenges.
- Build and leverage strong relationships with the talent community in the respective territory/country.
- Collaborate with dubbing partners on dubbing talent casting and mix review, ensuring adherence to creative guidelines.
- Influence and streamline dubbing production operations, identifying efficiency opportunities and innovative solutions.
- Work closely with Global Resource Strategy to evaluate vendor strategy in the territory, using data and expertise.
- Accommodate and provide risk assessment for special upstream localization requests in the territory.
- Monitor activities of actors unions/guilds that could influence pricing and market behavior.
- Initiate, support, and collaborate with cross-functional partners on Inclusion and diversity initiatives.
- Stay updated on how technology impacts the dubbing process and consider integrating advancements into the workflow.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of dubbing title/language management experience.
- Ability to inspire trust and team-building skills, creating professional representation on behalf of Netflix.
- Curiosity and interest in innovation, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Strong understanding of the creative process and effective communication with creative partners and cross-functional teams.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to get to the root cause of a problem and propose solutions.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, executing titles at various points of production.
- Contribute to the company's culture of curiosity and self-disciplined proactive responsibility.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in another language is beneficial.
