Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
About the Role
This position involves preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining a sterile environment during cardiovascular procedures. As a preceptor, you will play a crucial role in training new hires and radiology students, ensuring they receive comprehensive onboarding and develop essential skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.
- IDentify and assess patient condition, providing personalized care and attention.
- Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
- Serve as a preceptor, guiding new hires and radiology students through their orientation and training process.
- Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A completed 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS registration.
- Previous Procedural Area experience is highly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- ACLS training achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained throughout employment.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $27.84 to $45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. In addition to a generous compensation package, you can expect:

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or
- Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire
