Job Summary

This is a salaried position, with an estimated annual salary of $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience. As an Assistant Program Manager, you will work in a residential group home providing support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

About the Role

The Assistant Program Manager will assist the Program Manager in providing leadership, creating a positive work environment, and overseeing finances. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to train and motivate staff.

  • Train and schedule diverse staff members.
  • Maintain a safe and respectful work environment that emphasizes teamwork and cooperation.
  • Provide feedback and motivation to staff, addressing conflict and facilitating resolution when necessary.
  • Monitor staff training and ensure compliance with staffing ratios.
  • Work with the Program Manager to manage program finances and develop positive relationships with community agencies and families.
Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Program Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading by example and demonstrating respect, dignity, and empowerment towards those we serve.
  • Collaborating with the Program Manager to maintain financial oversight and budget management.
  • Fostering positive working relationships with community agencies, families, and guardians.
  • Participating in Licensing Reviews and Self-Assessments, and contributing to Plans of Improvement.
