RN - Acute Care/Vascular Unit Leader

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care/Vascular Unit as a Charge Nurse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating unit staffing, providing leadership, and ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership to ensure effective patient care.
- Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
- Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff.
- Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
- Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
- May provide input for hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Required professional licensure/certification and 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.
