Transform Events into Unforgettable Moments

Bowie House, a vibrant urban retreat, seeks a skilled Banquet Houseperson to craft seamless and enchanting events. As a pivotal member of our dynamic team, you will transform event spaces into captivating environments, setting the stage for unforgettable moments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare function rooms to perfection.
  • Set equipment according to daily work sheet specifications.
  • Provide exceptional service by offering required amenities.
  • Refresh meeting rooms during meal and coffee breaks.
  • Break down meeting rooms efficiently after events.
  • Complete special projects as directed by department management.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure it is in excellent condition.
  • Accommodate special customer needs, including hanging banners and providing food and beverage services.
  • Follow Banquet Event Orders (BEO) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Install and remove air walls as needed.
  • Break down service areas and maintain a clean and organized environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Prior customer service training is a plus.
  • Strong team-oriented skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds with ease and move equipment as needed.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
