We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at RSG Forest Products in Kalama, Washington.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled electrician to take on a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot 480V 3-phase electrical systems.
  • Program, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
  • Ensure all electrical systems are operating efficiently and safely.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Requirements
  • Journeyman's license or equivalent. 3rd and 4th-year electrical apprentices will also be considered, depending on experience.
  • Wood product industry experience is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience with an emphasis in troubleshooting motor control circuits. Experience working with Allen Bradley Motor Control Centers and PLC's is highly desirable.
  • Experience and troubleshooting VFD controlled circuits. Experience with Yaskawa VFD's is an asset.
  • Solid background in 480 Volt three phase, single-phase, and DC systems.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electric Code
