Catholic Art Teacher Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate art teacher to join our team at St. Andrew Catholic School in Saline, Michigan.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading students to wholeness in the image of Jesus Christ by providing authentic faith formation through art education. This role involves designing and implementing art curriculum initiatives, programs, and projects that meet Diocese of Lansing Art Standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver professional development workshops on art programs, projects, and initiatives.
  • Foster partnerships with local communities and parishes to enhance art education.
  • Create art enrichment opportunities for students across all grades.
  • Maintain student usage of art tools and supplies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Strong commitment to Catholic education and worldview.
  • Participation in VIRTUS child protection program required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Teaching experience and certification.
  • Knowledge of Spirit of Truth by Sophia Institute and Disciple of Christ-Education in Virtue curriculum.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
