We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Chief Nursing Officer - Behavioral Health to join our team at SayCom Staffing.

Job Summary

The Chief Nursing Officer - Behavioral Health will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for our behavioral health services. This includes overseeing the development and implementation of clinical practice guidelines, quality improvement initiatives, and educational programs for nurses and other healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership, with experience in a behavioral health setting. They will also be a collaborative team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategize and drive process improvements focused on innovative care delivery and/or operational models designed to improve clinical services, outcomes, patient throughput, and patient safety
• Promote the use and implementation of technology in the workplace in order to streamline operations, facilitate communications, and optimize work processes
• Collaborate with other disciplines for the implementation of programs, policies, and procedures that address how patient care needs of the patient population served are assessed, met, and evaluated
• Serve as a member of the executive leadership team, building and supporting effective collegial relationships with applicable internal and external constituents and stakeholders and ensuring optimal operating effectiveness and strategic positioning
• Assume an active role with the hospitals governing body, senior leadership, medical staff, management, and other clinical leaders in the hospitals decision-making structure and process
• Promote relationships among all types of community organizations to improve patient outcomes and the health of the communities served
• Establish mechanisms to assure nurses throughout the organization are involved in shared governance and decision-making structures and processes that establish standards of practice and address issues of concern
• Assure the flow of information and decision-making is bi-directional and horizontal between and among professional nurses at the bedside, the leadership team, and the CNO

Qualifications

• 3+ Years of experience as an ACNO, or 5 + years of experience as a Director of Nursing in an Inpatient Acute Behavioral Health Unit or Hospital
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
• Master's degree in nursing or another appropriate postgraduate health science degree is required or proof of enrollment with a written plan to advanced degree completion is required
• Current Registered Nurse license without restrictions required
