Electrophysiology Radiographer Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Radiographer to join our team at St. Elizabeth Healthcare. As an EP Radiographer, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of heart arrhythmias.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain radiographic, digital, and processing equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Assist cardiologists during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Apply principles of radiation safety and protection.
  • Act as a first assistant during diagnostic EP studies, therapeutic ablation procedures, and surgical device implantations.
  • Review patient assessments, communicate with cardiologists, and ensure appropriate imaging and patient safety.
  • Assist in the education and training of new employees, students, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to ensure best practices in the EP lab.
Requirements:
  • RT licensure in the state where work is performed and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • CPR certification.
  • At least two years of experience as an RT or one year as a Cath Lab tech/special procedure tech.
