Position Summary

As a Flight Paramedic with Mercy, you will be responsible for providing critical care to patients in emergency situations. This role requires a high level of judgment and knowledge to provide safe and therapeutic paramedic care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage critically ill or injured patients during transport
  • Collaborate with flight nurses to provide comprehensive care
  • Abide by state law, Mercy Life Line Protocol, and hospital policies and procedures
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Current paramedic license in state of operation
  • ALS care experience for at least three years
  • FP-C or CCP-C certifications required for critical care transports
  • Ability to assess data reflective of patient status and interpret information needed to identify patient requirements
