Position Overview

Wilks Brothers is seeking a skilled rough terrain forklift operator to support operations in our industrial yard. This position entails the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery in challenging environments, along with various yard maintenance responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard
• Load and unload materials and equipment from transport vehicles
• Assist in managing inventory levels
• Operate different types of yard machinery, including forklifts and loaders
• Arrange materials and equipment in specified locations
• Conduct inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Effectively communicate with colleagues to coordinate activities
• Uphold a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating rough terrain forklifts or wheeled loaders
• Ability to accurately read measuring tools
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Physical capability to lift heavy items and work in diverse weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt

Working Environment

• Engagement in physical activities such as lifting, bending, and climbing
