About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at American Honda Motor. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our facilities across multiple locations, ensuring that our infrastructure and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our facilities, including building envelope, space planning, and site and grounds maintenance.
  • Oversee and manage contracted services, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds defined organization targets.
  • Act as the point of contact for customer requests and concerns, providing excellent customer service and optimizing resolution of customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain organizational budgets for capital investment and expense activities, including maintenance and repair of facility assets and contracted support services.
  • Evaluate and implement strategic direction for activity based on business objectives, establishing measurable performance goals and evaluating overall operational progress.
  • Support facilities-related operations across multiple locations, utilizing technical knowledge of building, project management, analytical decision-making, risk assessment, and troubleshooting/problem solving.
  • Manage daily personnel work, including assigning/balancing workloads to associates/contractors, managing schedules, ensuring timely and accurate output, and providing technical expertise as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred certifications, including Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), and Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM).
  • Strong technical knowledge of building, project management, analytical decision-making, risk assessment, and troubleshooting/problem solving.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work overtime, as needed, to complete tasks and manage projects.
