Job Responsibilities

As a Caregiver at Brookdale, you will provide direct care to residents, recognizing individual needs and encouraging independence while treating each senior with respect and dignity. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Helping residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes
  • Engaging residents in meaningful conversations and providing attentive care
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.
