Auto Parts Sales Professional

Stevens Ford Lincoln, a family-owned new and used car dealership with 70 years of experience, is seeking a Full-time Auto Parts Sales Professional in Milford, Connecticut.
Estimated Salary:$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:- Parts Sales Process Management: Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of auto parts to customers.
- Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers regarding parts status, providing regular updates and resolving any issues promptly.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with staff and customers to provide excellent service, answering phone calls, and responding to customer inquiries.
- Parts Catalog Expertise: Demonstrate knowledge of the parts catalog, efficiently searching and retrieving parts information for customers.
- Phone Support: Answer phone calls, providing price quotes, and addressing customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Estimate Review: Carefully review body shop estimates to ensure accuracy of ordered parts and pricing compliance.
- Customer Service: Deliver high-quality service to both internal and external customers, exceeding expectations and building trust.
- Order Fulfillment: Pull and fill orders from stock, maintaining inventory accuracy and meeting customer deadlines.
- Inventory Management: Conduct weekly bin checks to verify stock levels, preventing errors and discrepancies.
- Internal Billing: Ensure all internal requests for parts are properly billed on service repair orders.
- Payment Processing: Collect payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization as needed.
- Experience: Two or more years' experience in auto parts sales, with a proven track record of success.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Credentials: Clean, valid driver's license, and successful completion of pre-employment screening.
