About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Maintenance Systems Engineer to join our team at the VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex healthcare systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles, with experience in maintenance and repair activities. You will work closely with our clinical teams to understand operational needs and develop effective solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform equipment and systems maintenance planning
  • Produce contracts for maintenance activities
  • Manage large-scale maintenance projects
  • Provide coordinated support for construction administration
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
  • 3+ years of experience in maintenance and repair activities
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, and other engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
