Nurse Residency Program

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? We have an exciting position available for a LPN to join our team at Waterview Hills Campus in North Salem, Westchester County.
This is a full-time, part-time (every other weekend required) position on days, evenings, or nights, with opportunities for per diem work. As a LPN, you will provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond timely to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use nursing process, judgment, and skills to set priorities necessary to deliver quality direct resident care and make decisions promoting the safety and quality of care to residents.
- Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and/or medications and observe residents for desired or unwanted effects.
- Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings, including lab/test results, incidents, and/or concerns.
- Monitor and document vitals, treatments administered, and residents' responses.
- Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of care of resident CNA assignments and activities, considering the category of needs and competency of personnel.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
- Licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN.
- Dedicated to providing extraordinary, clinically sound, and compassionate care.
- Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health.
- Have excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
- Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff.
