Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a Clinical Professor of Hematology at the University of California, San Francisco. The successful candidate will have a strong background in non-malignant hematology and a track record of clinical, teaching, and research excellence.

The Division of Hematology/Oncology is a dynamic and growing section within the Department of Medicine, and we are committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop a clinical research program in an area of your interest, with a focus on non-malignant hematology.

Key responsibilities will include participating in the teaching and training of Hematology and Oncology fellows, residents, and medical students, as well as contributing to the division's annual scientific conference. Clinical activities will include attending on the hematology consultation service and in our outpatient non-malignant hematology clinic.

We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in thrombosis or bleeding disorders, and who have a track record of obtaining peer-reviewed funding. Applicants must be ABIM eligible or certified in Hematology.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $121,100-$320,100. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
