Job Description

This position for Fab 11X/Fab 9 includes shift openings on shifts 4, 5, 6, and 7.

At Intel's New Mexico Disaggregation Manufacturing Operation (NM DMO), we have several exciting opportunities for growth at our Rio Rancho manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipment maintenance, process, and training.
  • Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
  • Responsible for running material in a qualitative way.
  • Perform operational tasks, preventative maintenance, and/or assists in troubleshooting to determine problems in equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability.
  • Skills to work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Analytical problem solving and testing skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

This is an entry level position, and it will be compensated accordingly.

Relocation assistance provided.

  • Associate's degree/certification in equipment focused program (including, but not limited to: Automotive Maintenance, HVAC, Mechatronics, and Aviation maintenance) OR
  • One of the following experience requirements obtained in the last 5 years:
    • Minimum 1 year semiconductor equipment maintenance experience OR
    • Minimum 2 years of military equipment maintenance experience OR
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair in a professional capacity
    • Must be willing to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kgs) 4 times a day.
    • This position is not open for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills to influence the content and creation of new specs, procedures and business processes related to equipment maintenance.
