Event Safety Coordinator

AEG is seeking a highly motivated Event Safety Coordinator to join our team. This role is a pivotal part of ensuring the safety and security of our employees, guests, and clients at various events and venues. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, responding to incidents, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities- Incident Response: The Event Safety Coordinator will be the first point of contact for all security-related issues and will control the diffusion of incidents at the event. This includes monitoring assigned areas, observing and reporting ongoing activity, and controlling the ejection or control of unruly guests.
- Customer Service: The Event Safety Coordinator will assist with customer service requests, including providing directions, instructions, information, escorts, and medical assistance.
- Security Screening: The Event Safety Coordinator will screen and confirm all employees, vendors, delivery personnel, guests, and artists entering the venue to ensure appropriate access.
- Documentation: The Event Safety Coordinator will log all activity, movement, and repairs in the appropriate log to ensure all incidents are accurately documented.
- A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
- 1-2 years of related work experience
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Expert organizational, leadership, and time management skills
- Ability to qualify and be issued a security officer license
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Guard Card
- CPR and AED certification
- Knowledge of rules and regulations with a good understanding of right and wrong
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. AEG offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
