Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to collaborate with our team at Resilient Healthcare.

About the Role:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital part in cultivating patient-centered care through innovative therapies and comprehensive treatment plans.

  • You will create personalized goals and objectives for patients to achieve and monitor progress throughout their therapy sessions.
  • Prepare engaging exercises and activities to promote effective communication and language development in patients.
  • Provide expert counseling and consultations to new patients and their families, addressing their unique challenges and concerns.
  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologist assistants to ensure seamless support and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient files, adhering to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing patient files prior to appointments to understand their specific needs and challenges.
  • Attending continuing education courses to advance knowledge and skills within the field of speech-language pathology.
  • Developing strategies to overcome common software and hardware challenges related to speech pathology tools.
  • Ensuring proper sterilization and safety procedures are followed when preparing equipment and exam rooms.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer software commonly used for documentation and report preparation.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting common software and hardware challenges related to speech pathology tools.
  • Physical endurance and ability to work primarily in a standing position.
  • A friendly and professional demeanor when explaining procedures and processes to patients.
  • Accountability and attention to detail when handling and documenting important medical information.

Compensation:

We offer an attractive salary range of $75,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
