Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Community Outpatient Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing pharmaceutical care to our patients and directing the functional activities of our pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support, medication preparation, and distribution to ensure high-quality, safe, and cost-effective drug therapy to patients.
  • Engage in professional activities to improve public health awareness and provide education, consultations, immunizations, and medication therapy management to patients.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy (minimum acceptable level of education).
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) is strongly preferred.
  • Previous community and/or hospital outpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Registered pharmacist possessing or eligible for a Michigan Pharmacist and Controlled Substance license is required.
  • Maintenance of minimum hours of State Board of Pharmacy continuing education credits every two years as required by the State of Michigan.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification as required.
  • Immunization Certification from APhA.
