Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiology Specialist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As an essential member of our department, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to our patients. This is a full-time position with a 36-hour workweek, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

In this role, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing various medical procedures. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the safety and comfort of our patients throughout their treatment process. You will also contribute to performance improvement initiatives, evaluate problem areas, and implement measures to enhance patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess a completion of a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), certification or eligibility for certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist, and licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. No prior experience is required.

Apart from a competitive salary ($92.11 - $130.71 per hour), you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including State of North Carolina benefits, a sign-on bonus over two years, tuition reimbursement up to $100k over three years, self-scheduling, minimal call, nights, and weekends, and six weeks of vacation.
