Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures and collect relevant information for completion.
  • Perform CT and X-ray procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Observe patients' conditions and ensure their safety during procedures.
  • Transfer and position patients in a safe manner.
  • Practice radiation safety and adhere to federal standards.
  • Operate electronic information systems and compile records to expedite results.
  • Administer contrast media as required.
  • Participate in continuing education activities to expand knowledge of CT and meet ARRT requirements.
  • Contribute to Quality Control/Quality Improvement initiatives.
  • Initiate patient teaching and involve family and/or significant others.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification.
  • Vocational School Graduate.
