Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative professional to join our Public Engagement Department as a Community Outreach Coordinator. This role will support the 20-person Public Engagement team with administrative tasks and contribute to light graphic design and website maintenance.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage media tracking and reporting for each project using a media tracking service.
  • Maintain Apex's proprietary digital resource library.
  • Assist in collecting, uploading, and updating project data.
  • Process purchase requests and track monthly reports for accounting.
  • Manage Public Engagement team credit cards and compile promotional material orders.
  • Support mailings and assist the Design Manager with updates to project information sheets and event invitations.
  • Contribute to website content maintenance and updates.
  • Help plan and coordinate community events across our project portfolio.
  • Represent Apex Clean Energy at various meetings and events.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in political science, public relations, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong passion for communications, public affairs, and community organizing.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with a system-oriented mindset.
  • Positive attitude, ability to work proactively, and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Adobe Design Suite.
  • Familiarity with web-based content management systems is a plus.

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
