Job Description for Medical Administrative Clerk

At HireOps Staffing LLC, we are seeking a skilled Medical Administrative Clerk to join our team.

Job Summary: The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between our medical record review team and provider office staff, conducting outreach calls to request medical records and ensuring compliance with PHI and HIPAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outreach calls to provider offices to request medical records
  • Enter key performance metrics into our internal database
  • Retrieve charts from approved EMRs and portals
  • Upload incoming medical records into our provider outreach database
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years' experience making outbound and receiving inbound calls
  • Customer service skills
  • Data entry experience
  • Proficiency in PDF, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent written and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Medical Assistant certification
  • Medical terminology knowledge

This is a contract opportunity for the right candidate, offering a competitive rate of $22.66/hourly with flexible remote work arrangements.
