Lead Data Scientist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytics solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop predictive models, credit models, and pricing models using advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets and use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
  • Advise senior management on the potential impact of new and existing data-driven initiatives.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
  • Proven experience in the FinTech industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of credit models, pricing models, and predictive analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
  • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to guide a team towards success.
