The GEO Group, a global leader in evidence-based rehabilitation, is seeking a dedicated Correctional Officer to join our team in community reentry services. As a valued member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful transition of individuals back into their communities.

Estimated Salary Range: $42,000 - $55,000 per annumJob Description:

This position requires an individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for conducting random on-site verification visits to the homes and employment of residents under supervision, ensuring compliance with program requirements and providing support to residents as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular home and employment visits to verify resident compliance with program conditions;
  • Maintain accurate records of visits and interactions with residents and employers;
  • Communicate effectively with residents, employers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives;
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures related to resident supervision and program management.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • Minimum one year of experience in a related field preferred;
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation essential;
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain a good moral character.
