Job Overview

GEOGRAPHIC SOLUTIONS INC is seeking a highly skilled Architectural Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our architectural team, you will be responsible for developing innovative concepts and design elements, as well as managing the day-to-day activities of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee all technical activities related to architectural and engineering projects, including design changes.
  • Present design proposals to the Tech Review Board and Senior Management.
  • Meet with clients and other team members to design or resolve integration issues.
  • Assess potential projects for feasibility by researching and analyzing associated technology, design requirements, and governmental regulations.
  • Remain up to date with current and trending elements of Network, Security, Systems, and Database technologies.
  • Innovate and develop new standards, policies, and procedures for architectural design and engineering.
  • Monitor operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities for improvement or revision.
  • Work closely with the Director of Operations and CISO on planning and departmental projects.
  • Oversee and report weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.
  • Identify trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.
  • Raise and track issues, remove barriers, resolve problems of medium complexity involving stakeholders, and escalate to the appropriate level when required.
  • Establish and maintain credible, professional relationships with clients, internal business lines, and external vendors.
  • Assess system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in resolving complex issues escalated by technicians and engineers.

  • Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (e.g. GDPR).

  • Ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Ability to make complex decisions with limited information.
  • Analyzing training needs/requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities.
  • Ability to communicate with others effectively.
  • Ability to conduct research for special projects, respond timely to inquiries, and present written/oral briefings.
  • Ability to work with details and time-sensitive issues.
  • Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is required. Experience in the labor market or regulatory occupation industries is preferred.
