Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team at CVS Health. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the management of our pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing pharmacy technicians and other support staff.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy, including patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
  • Develop and implement patient care programs to promote healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS Health from competitors.
  • Lead with empathy and compassion, motivating and inspiring your team to achieve specified goals and objectives.
  • Identify business opportunities and contribute to the development of meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in your pharmacy.
  • Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
Requirements
  • Active pharmacy license in the state in which you are employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
