Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. A sign-on bonus of $15,000 is available for eligible candidates.

Job Description

This role involves evaluating assigned patients and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care. You will also assist physicians during examinations and procedures, perform various patient tests, and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.

Promoting patients' independence is a key aspect of this position. You will establish patient care goals and teach patients and families to understand their conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

As a member of our Labor and Delivery team, you will have opportunities to cross-train and float to other women's services with experience. Direct reporting to the Director of Women's Services ensures clear lines of communication and support.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Licensed as a R.N. by the Texas State Board of Registered Nurse Examiners
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, Stable, Basic, intermediate, and advanced fetal monitoring certifications
  • Internship or 3 months of experience as an RN
  • Preferred: Labor and Delivery experience
