Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Cardiac Stepdown Service Unit (CSSU). In this role, you will provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the hospital. You will work closely with the clinical team to create and implement a care plan that meets each patient's needs.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and proficiency in the care of patients with cardiovascular diagnoses and procedures, including pre and post cardiac caths, pacemakers, TEEs/Cardioversions, open heart surgery, ablations, TAVRs, groin management, strokes/TIAs, traumas, sepsis, COPD, CHF, AFib exacerbations, detox, and drug abuse.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in nursing practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
