The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-availability authoritative services to manage employee time expectations and compute pay globally. This role requires a strong understanding of real-time and event-driven analytics, as well as experience with IoT devices and web user interfaces.

We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented individual who can lead complex projects, prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in design patterns, reliability, and scaling.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to the growth and success of Amazon's PXT business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop high-availability authoritative services to manage employee time expectations and compute pay globally
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for the PXT business
  • Develop and maintain complex software systems, ensuring high quality and customer focus
  • Lead complex projects, prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivery
Requirements
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Preferred qualifications: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
